NT SPRINTCAR SEASON RELEASED FOR 2026

The NTSA has finalised a calendar in collaboration with Northline Speedway, Katherine Speedway and Arunga Park Speedway and is working on track championship details.


  • The new HB Concrete Outback Open series is being introduced. This hybrid series will feature 410 and 360-LS competition while recognising and honouring prize money and series payments separately within the 410 and 360-LS sections.

  • We are excited to pencil in three dates at Katherine Speedway and to include Arunga Park Speedway in the series.

  • The Northern Territory Sprintcar Championship returns to Northline Speedway.

  • Major events for the season include

    • Defend the Top End and the

    • Chariots of Thunder Series.

  • NTSA anticipates a big season with a strong number of cars already committed and over $180,000 in prize money to be paid out across the season.


Next steps Supplementary regulations for all events will be released in the coming weeks as sanction agreements are finalised.
