A new series and sanctioning body appears to have been established with social media announcing a series for the coming season No further details are available at this time, other than a schedule that primarily includes southern Victorian venues. The series appears to have an alignment with the AASA sanctioning body.

As preparations continue for the 2026/27 season, the Sprintcar Association of NSW is looking to expand our team of officials ahead of what is shaping up to be one of the biggest and most diverse Sprintcar calendars in the country. We are currently seeking expressions of interest for the following roles: Technical / Scrutineering Officials Chief Stewards, Assistant Stewards, Club Stewards Raceday Secretary Scale Marshalls Infield Officials Timing Officials Training and support

Rosedale Speedway, VIC have released their calendar for the upcoming season. Combining a mix of state and nationals classes under the umbrella of Speedway Australia and AASA, highlights include a round of the Victorian Production Sedans Series, Wingless Sprints and street stocks.

Wingless Sprints Queensland have announce 17 date season across 2026/2027. The season will feature the Wingless Sprints Queensland club championship over 14 rounds along with the Hi-Tech Oils Toowoomba Speedway Track Championship over seven rounds. Major events include the Hackett's Discount Tyres "King of The Ring" at Toowoomba, the Australian Wingless Title at Broderline, Mt Gambier, the Queensland Title at Maryborough and Shane Ryan Memorial at Kingaroy.

The SCCA held the National Annual General Meeting June 20th and 21st 2026 in Melbourne with all State Member Clubs and AWSR represented. The NSW Wingless Sprints draft calendar has been released for the upcoming season and will be one the biggest yet. With over 20 events across the season including the NSW title at Western Sydney Speedway, ACT Speedway hosting the ACT Title (TBC) and National title at Borderline Speedway, Mt Gambier SA, there will be broad range of events to cater for all competitors.
