2026 Late Model Winter Series Schedule Released

Late Model Racing Western Australia is excited to officially release the schedule for the 2026 Development Series, with eight action-packed events set to be contested across four venues during the winter months.

Now entering its seventeenth season, the Development Series has long been regarded as one of the most important pathways within Late Model Racing in Western Australia, helping develop the next generation of drivers while also providing valuable seat time for established competitors.

Over the years, many of today’s Pro Dirt Series regulars first honed their craft in the Winter Series, learning the fundamentals of Late Model racing before progressing into the state’s premier ranks.

The 2026 calendar will see competitors visit Bunbury, Ellenbrook, Kellerberrin and Pithara across a busy four-month stretch, beginning in May and concluding in late September.

Series organisers are excited by the continued growth of the category and believe the upcoming season will once again provide close racing, strong car counts and an ideal environment for emerging drivers to gain experience.
