MEDIA RELEASE

Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway is proud to announce the return of its premier sedan racing series for the 2026/27 season, made possible through the continued support of valued series partners and the growing commitment of Charlton Raceway Inc.

The season will once again feature three of Queensland’s most competitive sedan championships:

  •  Toowoomba Steering & Suspension Modified Sedan Smackdown Series

  •  Engage Ag Production Sedan Champions Series powered by Steering & Suspension Warehouse

  •  Bully’s Off-Road 4WD Dirt Masters Street Stock Series

The series will culminate with their respective Grand Finals before the season-ending showcase event, the Money in the Bank Production Sedan 50 Lapper being held over two days on 21-22 May, along side an exciting new Super Sedan event that’s soon to be announced.

In addition to this, Junior Sedans will feature six times throughout the season for the local Club Championship series.

The ever popular Toowoomba Steering & Suspension T-Bar Nationals for Modified Sedans that pays $10,000 to win, returns this season on 31 December and 1 January.

Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway would like to sincerely thank our returning series sponsors, whose continued investment helps provide outstanding opportunities for competitors while delivering exciting racing for fans throughout the season.

A special acknowledgment must also be made to Charlton Raceway Inc, the Toowoomba Sedan Club, for its increased financial contribution and support across all sedan events this season, which includes increasing series points fund prize money for both Production Sedans and Street Stocks.

The club’s commitment to investing back into the sport demonstrates its dedication to strengthening sedan racing in the region and ensuring competitors are rewarded for their support of the venue and the sport. Through increased prize money initiatives, event support, and ongoing collaboration with the Speedway, Charlton Raceway Inc continues to play a vital role in the growth of sedan racing at Toowoomba.

“Having strong support from our sponsors and local clubs is critical to building successful racing programs,” said Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway promoter Ryan Harris.

“Charlton Raceway Inc has stepped up significantly this season, providing increased financial support across our sedan events. Their commitment, together with our fantastic series sponsors, ensures we can continue to deliver some of the strongest sedan racing programs in Australia.”

With a packed calendar and increased support for competitors, the 2026/27 season is shaping up to be one of the biggest yet for sedan racing at Hi-Tec Oils Toowoomba Speedway.

The Speedway looks forward to welcoming back competitors, teams, sponsors, volunteers, officials and fans as another exciting season gets underway in August for our practice events.
